AC BLUEBIRD QUAKER SAMPLER

"AC Bleubird Quaker Sampler" is an antique reproduction sampler by Sassafras Samplers.  This is a beautiful Quaker Sampler believed to be from the Ackworth School.  The stitching is exquisite and the motifs are beautifully spaced.  No date is noted on the sampler, but it is believed to be mid to late 1700s.  One medallion holds the initials AC.  Based on the beauty of the work, and the wonderful placement of each motif in proximity to the others, it is believed to be a teaching piece.  This is consistent with the lack of name and date.
