ANN SIMS SAMPLER

"Ann Sims" is a cross stitch sampler, dated 1800, which was stitched in New England.  Ann was only 11 years old when she accomplised this sampler.  The model pictured was stitched on 32 count linen using one strand of floss over two linen threads for most of the stitches.
