NANTUCKET GIRL'S SAMPLER CROSS STITCH PATTERN
"Nantucket Girl's Sampler" is an original cross stitch design by Paulette Stewart of Plum Street Samplers. The inspiration for this sampler came after reading Nathaniel Philcrick;s "In The Heart of the Sea" in which he recounts the events of the whaleship Essex, and how it was rammed and sunk by a sperm whale. The design was stitched on 40 count linen using one strand of floss over two linen threads. The stitch count is 422w x 242h.
