Notes from Wendy: This beautiful Spanish Alphabet Sampler was stitched in 1857 by Teresa Calonge. Teresa stitched six unique alphabets framed by a lovely floral border. At the bottom of her sampler Teresa stitched to word Lohizo. This means "she did it". I think we all feel that same sense of pride after completing a big stitching project.
