HANNAH BONFIELD, 1841 Cross Stitch Sampler Reproduction Pattern

An original sampler reproduction by Ruthie Taylor of Crowsfeetstitching. The designer stitched her model on 36 count linen and the stitch count is 240 W x 185 H.  It is stitched in full cross stitch except for her name and date, which is stitched in quarter stitch or one over one.  The designer included an adaptation of the name and date charted for full cross stitch, so this sampler is suitable for aida and linen.

From the Designer: Hannah was from the Hertfordshire which is just to the north of Lodon. She stitched a lovely sampler with birds and a big red house - although the original sampler has faded the colours are visible from the back. I have included some background about what I have been able to find about Hannah's life.
